Cong. Manoy Wilbert “Wise” Lee has renewed his call for the urgent passage of the Fishing Shelters and Ports Act, which would establish safe havens for Filipino fishermen in the West Philippine Sea. With China’s fishing ban threatening livelihoods, Lee stressed the importance of providing secure fishing shelters to safeguard Filipino fisherfolk from foreign aggressors.

“Karapatan ng ating mga mangingisda ang ligtas at masaganang kabuhayan,” Lee said, urging cooperation between government agencies to ensure long-term solutions to the challenges posed by territorial disputes.
