Through his persistent efforts to improve healthcare service in the country, Cong. Wilbert “Manoy” T. Lee has secured commitments from the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth to provide wider coverage for diagnostic tests and life-saving treatments. From free PET scan, CT scan and MRI to covering 80% of cancer treatments, these benefits will be effective by December 2024.
“Kasama ang sambayanan, babantayan ko ito,” Lee remarked, stressing the importance of ensuring that these commitments translate into real benefits for the public.
